Way Too Early 2018 Regular Season Predictions

THE AFC AFC EAST   Bills 4th in AFC East: Tough schedule for this young team. I think Allen will take over the offense sooner than later. Front of schedule too much to overcome & too many questions on the roster. There is also the McCoy drama looming over right now.  Offensive Stud- Shady McCoy if n/a on suspension, Kelvin Benjamin  Defensive Stud- Micah Hyde  Best Newcomer- Tremaine Edmunds   Biggest win- Titans week 5 @ home- 20-17 Dolphins 3rd in AFC East: First half of schedule before bye gives hope, but last half is brutal. They have allowed a lot to leave on this roster the last year. Do like some of their young core, but they have a lot of work to do. They have a quarterback situation to figure out as well. Offensive Stud- Kenyon Drake Defensive stud- Cameron Wake Best Newcomer- Minkah Fitzpatrick Biggest win this year- Patriots Week 14 @ Home- 27-24   Jets 2nd in AFC East: This roster had some losses & improvements. Hard to trust them t

Xavier Woods #25 & Chido Awuzie #24 @ The Star in Frisco We talked about the offense in part 1, this time we will be discussing the defensive side of the ball. There is some great talent and youth on this side of the ball, just like the offense. Some of these players made some big strides last season and I am looking forward to see who steps up now. Just like last week, were going to discuss some strengths and some concern spots on this side of the ball.  The D-Line - Strength Taco Charlton #97 at OTA's                                                                        The defensive line made strides last year and looks to build on that this season. Although they lost David Irving the first 4 games again, they filled in some good pieces. They brought in Jihad Ward  from Oakland, in exchange for Ryan Switzer  and this move helps the current situation. Ward, was a bust in Oakland, but he should fit the defensive scheme very well. He has been playi

Jason Garrett (left) & Dak Prescott (right) during mini camp at The Star Facility in Frisco, Texas It's been a little while friends, but I am excited to be back and following the 2018 Dallas Cowboys and weekly NFL games. There has been a lot of change on this roster the last couple seasons and there are many new faces at camp. Today, we will be looking at some of the strengths and weaknesses for this young roster. We will be touching on the offensive side today. Just to put into perspective of how much this roster has changed, here's a pic for you from three and a half years ago in the 2014 playoffs.  left to right-dez bryant/tony romo/ jason witten/ demarco murray following the 2014 NFC wild card game at At&t Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  When I look at the picture above, I see leadership. Dallas has lost many leaders in the locker room the last few years. Some of these young guys are going to have to take on that leader role this season
