WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS

Image
We head into Week 4 after a crazy week of football in Week 3. There were a lot of competitive games on tap last week. This week has a lot of big and important match-ups, this being one of them. Both the Los Angeles Rams & the Dallas Cowboys will fight to stay atop their division. Let"s take a look at some specifics to get u ready for the game Sunday.  TODD GURLEY Todd Gurley had a breakout performance last week and is looking to have a bounce back campaign in 2017. He got in the end-zone 3 times last week and was a workhorse for the Rams. He had 28 carries for 113 yards and had 5 catches for 36 yards. He has a lot of confidence going into this game, so much he had this to say last week; “Next week, we’ve got Dallas,” Gurley said, via the  Dallas Morning News . “We’ve got a little break.  So we’re gonna whoop up ” on the Cowboys. We will see what happens on Sunday. I picked him as a spotlight player in this game, because he will need a big game

WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS

Last week was a rough week for the Dallas Cowboys and my overall predictions for the week. Thank goodness I was able to dominate fantasy and my Utah Utes won. The Boys' have a chance to bounce back this week in Glendale, against the Arizona Cardinals . The Red Birds have won the last four meetings and a win would do wonders for either team. The Desert has not been an easy place to win for Dallas, let's take a look at some key players in the match-up. MARKUS GOLDEN Markus Golden has become an anchor on this defense. He brings a lot of pressure off of the edge in the 3-4 scheme Arizona runs. Last year he finished 3rd in the league with 12.5 sacks. He has yet to record a sack, but has 9 total tackles and has brought a lot of pressure. It's a copycat league and I can see them sending Golden constantly and stacking the box like Denver did in week 2 . This Arizona defense will come hungry for a win in Week 3 , to put them atop the NFC West. C

WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS

The last time we saw these two teams face off was back in 2013, in Big D. This was the shoot-out game with Peyton Manning and Tony Romo , going at it. The Cowboys made a valiant comeback, but in the end the Denver Broncos sealed the deal with a game ending interception. The last time Dallas beat Denver I was 9 years old! The same year Toy Story, Mortal Combat, and Billy Madison were released in 1995. Given, these teams don't see each-other often, but it has been a long time coming for a win. Let's dive into this Sunday's Heavyweight fight and look at some key pieces in this game.   VON MILLER Von Miller is a player you can prepare for all week, but in the end it doesn't matter. He is the best pass rusher in the league in my opinion. He ended week one with four tackles, four quarter back hurries and one quarter back hit. He was drawing double teams and was the biggest part in stopping the running game of the LA Chargers in the second half.

SEAN LEE THE COWBOY'S MVP

Sean Lee #50 Sept 10th @At&t stadium against the New York Giants Week one is in the books and the Dallas Cowboys got their revenge on the rival New York Giants . A majority part of that win was thanks to the stellar defense of Dallas. They held the Giants to only three points and put pressure on Eli all game long. Holding this offense to three points was impressive! Even with out O'dell Beckham off the field the defense should still be happy with the end result. As I was watching our defense play I saw the same thing I saw last year, Sean Lee all over the field. He was making plays and communicating with his teammates all night long. He finished week one with a team high rating from Pro Football Focus . He finished the day with 8 tackles and made life tough for the Giant's running game. TOP 5 GRADES: LB  Sean Lee , 90.8 overall grade CB  Anthony Brown , 90.5 overall grade G  Zack Martin , 86.1 overall grade RB  Ezekiel Elliott , 82.4 overall grade WR
