DALLAS VS GREEN BAY PREVIEW

This should be one of the more exciting games of the week. These two teams beat each other last season and both times, it was the away team who was victorious. Lets take a closer look into this game and some of the game changers involved.

AARON RODGERS

All the Cowboys have to do to win this one is shut down Aaron Rodgers, is that possible for any NFL defense!? He has already thrown for 10 touchdowns to 3 interceptions so far on the season and his completion percentage is at 66%. He is going to have to use his arm a lot on Sunday, due to Green Bay's injuries at running back. Dallas will have to get after Rodgers early on the pass rush and control the clock, in order to have a shot in this one. Dallas is getting some players back defensively, but they are most likely going to miss Sean Leefor a 2nd week straight. This does not bode well for The Boy's. Rodgers will be looking to take advantage of that loss and will be attacking through the air.

DAVID IRVING & THE PASS RUSH

David Irving will be one of the players Dallas will be getting back this week. Last year he was defensive player of the week, after wreaking havoc in Green Bay. He recorded 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles. Irving and the Dallas pass rush are going to need to bring their best this week. Tyrone Crawford, Maliek Collins, and DeMarcus Lawrence are going to be key in this as well. I think a heavy dose of Irving and Lawrence off the edge will be a good recipe to make Rodgers uncomfortable. They will want to force Rodgers up into the pocket, due to how well he does out of the pocket. This could bring some sacks to their defensive tackles. It is a tall task, but it is mostly likely the most important factor in this game. Get to Rodgers constantly and keep him off the field.

PACKER'S RUN DEFENSE

The Packer's will be looking to take away the strength of this Dallas squad, which is running the ball. The Pack has been relatively good at stopping the run so far this season, but Dallas is by far their toughest test yet. Clay Matthews will be a pivotal part of stopping the run game. Stop the run and force Dallas to pass more, that will be their goal. Is their defensive front physical enough to do so against the Dallas O-line? We will see.

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT

Zeke is coming off a strong week and is looking for another. He was effective running and receiving for the offense and finished with 139 yards from scrimmage. He got a receiving and rushing touchdown and he is going to be a huge factor in this Week 5 game. Dallas is going to have to control the clock and keep the Packer's offense off the field. Ezekiel Elliott is the ingredient that can accomplish that and keep their defense rested. The longer Dallas has the ball and the more successful Elliott is, the better the odds are for a big win. Going into the bye week with a win against the Packers, could put the Boys in a good place.

PREDICTION

High scoring & entertaining, but no Lee for Dallas and a beat up secondary. Green Bay 34 Dallas 30.
